I'm a web design student by day and web content editor by night. I came up with the idea of creating the Nerd Girl Army because I was tired of all the bikini babes when all I wanted was some FPS reviews and because of the long held belief amongst internet nerd boys that "there are no girls on the internet".
I'm pretty sure I'm actually a girl and that there are a hell of a lot more geeky girls who were just as fed up as I am.
So what qualifies me to be a General in the Nerd Girl Army, well, I did design this page while watching Justice League cartoons... I placed 3rd in the National HeroClix constructed tournament at GenCon Aus last year and 2nd in the sealed. I traveled to San Diego Comic Con from Australia then flew to Vegas to go to the Star Trek Experience where I made a Ferengi blush.
On the PC play The Sims 2, World of Warcraft, and on the Wii I'm catching all the golden bugs in Zelda: Twilight Princess and trying to get 100% completion on Lego Batman.
I happily served as Warren Ellis' Filthy Assistant for years on various forums he ran and made some wonderful friends including some brilliant women who will be contributing to this site. I love being a part of a community, I attend a weekly coffee excursion known as the Mid Week Geek where we all catch up, swap comics, scheme about games and frighten off the other patron.
