Ok, so I had a hard time figuring out what the E could stand for....
I'm Angie, an artist and general nerd currently residing in the desert of West Texas, USA.
I love brilliantly bad movies, genuinely good and geeky movies, various forms and examples of animation, manga, books of various genres, and playing computer MMORPG's and Sim games in between the sudden cycles of manic artistic creation that are about the only thing that can get me up away from the keyboard for more than a few hours. I also absolutely adore tabletop role-playing games, but alas, cannot find a group to get into out here, so my volumes of books sit around gathering dust.
My first computer was a Texas Instruments machine when I was about eight, that came with Math Blaster and Grammar Gremlins. My current beastie is a sleek little frankenputer built for the specific purposes of graphics design, 3-D rendering, WoW, and Sims 3. In fact, the 3-D rendering is also specifically for making objects that can be hopefully used in Sims 3 (and 2 still. I still like 2...)
I briefly ran a (failed) business venture selling nerd-girl tee shirts online, and maybe that will get resurrected- or at least, I'll find a way to get rid of the 1300 or so leftover tee shirts for nerdly females that are cluttering up a back hallway.
My main art style is what I call "Tribal" and is at times quite tattoo-like, and also speaks at least a little of the influence Japanese art from early Ukiyo-e to symbolism I picked up out of anime, mixed with an odd bit of Mexican/border folk art. I've got a DeviantArt gallery and a personal studio site (currently under serious construction) at Bakafox.com and am also beginning work in between everything else on a Sims fan/custom content site.
